About this webinar
How can we unlock the potential of photosynthetic microbes to revolutionise solar fuel production? ☀️🦠
Led by Paul Hudson (Professor at SciLifeLab, KTH), join us for an insightful session exploring how synthetic biology and advanced photosynthetic engineering are reshaping carbon capture and sustainable biomanufacturing.
This event is organised in the framework of the Horizon Europe S2B – Solar To Butanol project.
S2B is spearheading a technological breakthrough: shifting from conventional microbial suspensions to a solid-state biohybrid platform ➡️ an artificial leaf architecture 🍃.
By integrating advanced photosynthetic cell factories as biocatalysts with direct air capture (DAC), the project covers the entire value chain from light harvesting to carbon-neutral production.
We are thrilled to bring together leading researchers from the consortium and exceptional guest speakers.
